What’s Included
Birthday parties at Ballinakill Community Pool take place during designated public or private sessions and include:
Supervised Swimming Session
Birthday parties include access to the outdoor pool during an agreed session, with trained lifeguards on duty throughout. Children can enjoy swimming in a safe, monitored environment while parents relax poolside.
Pool & Play Access
Party guests have use of the main pool and toddler areas where suitable, as well as access to the nearby playground and green spaces. This allows time for both swimming and relaxed play before or after the pool session.
Space for a Simple Celebration
After swimming, families can use designated areas for birthday cake and refreshments. This provides a chance to gather, celebrate and enjoy the day together in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Do children need to be supervised?
Yes. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Parents and guardians remain responsible for children while using the facility.
Are there lifeguards on duty?
Yes. Qualified lifeguards are on duty during public swimming sessions. Please follow all instructions from pool staff and lifeguards.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:
- Swimwear
- Towel
- Flip-flops or suitable footwear
- Sunscreen
- Drinking water
- Warm clothing for after your swim
Are changing facilities available?
Yes. Changing rooms, toilets and showers are available on-site for pool users.
Is there parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available outside the pool in the Amenity Park. During busy periods spaces may be limited, so please allow extra time.
What happens if it rains?
Swimming sessions generally continue in light rain. In the event of severe weather, thunderstorms or conditions that may affect safety, sessions may be postponed, cancelled or temporarily suspended.
Can I bring inflatables or toys?
Yes, these can make or break a good party! However, please be aware these must only be used by children who are able to swim and in the big pool. Smaller inflatable may be used by young children in the baby pool.
Are food and drinks available?
We can recommend caterers who can provide for your party, however we cannot provide food or drink on site.
What facilities are available?
You will have the use of the pool to yourself while being supported by lifeguards. You will be able to use all changing facilities and showers, as well as the covered area and picnic benches.
